It's Done! Picked it up this morning. Sorry about the Camera Phone Pic's, it's all I have since some jerk ran off overseas with our camera, and it's still covered in dust and crap from the body shop.
Crap Story Time! Got a Phone call at work today. I've got to go up to Port Wakefield to do some training for the folks up there on Saturday. It seamed that they couldn't get the Litepro working right up there and nothing was working right. I ran through the usual problem solving with them, and they insisted (quite rudely) that they had tried all that, and still couldn't get it to work and that I would have to bring gear with me on Saturday to run the training. I told the Training Manager this, and He insisted that I call them back and sort it, because all their gear worked fine and we wern't pulling our classroom apart so that we could supply theirs. Long story short, it meant I had to go up there and sort it on the ground.
Bonus! Thinks me, I got a new toy I wanna play with, and the Diff has just hit 1000Km old, so it is officially broken in, so Highway here I come!
For those who came late, we just had a 4.1:1 Geared (Stock is 3.2:1) Torque Tuff centre LSD fitted to this car, FOR TOWING, and you've got to run these in, so no driving over 80km/h or towing until you do. So this is my first time with the new Diff and the Shaker Fitted.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had nightmare's about 3200rpm @ 110km/h and fuel consumption of about 20L/100km. But it wasn't so! At 110km/h, it was sitting on a comfortable 2400rpm in 6th and between 11-13L/100km, which is quite Good! So happy times!
Now the Shaker. It's SOOOOO Pretty!
It's functional, too, getting cold air from over the bonnet, and feeding it to the Stock Pod housing via a 4" intake, so it does good! Free's up the intake, and lets me make the most of the extra flow from the Holley Filter and Yella Terra 4" intake tubes bigger dwell volume. So it helps heaps when you boot it and you need the extra volume! It's a nice bit of kit, and it really helps the Car to turn heads, which is really cool too. Anyhow, enjoy!
