Finally on the third try I managed to pass my driving exam You can't believe how happy I am to get that out of the way. The nagging of my mum was driving me right over the edge ^__^. Now lets hope my brother won't use me as a taxi and an excuse to get drunk on his own.:/

ehh, not really, my mum will probably give me her old car. (it hasn't fallen apart.. yet. I'm pretty sure that you can't go inside after you eat mexican food. One good fart inside and I think the doors fly off.) I'm not really a car freak anyway and prefer taking public transportation or my bike anyway. A lot cheaper ^___^. Leaves more money for me to use on my hobbies. gaming is expensive you know

Oh, I KNOW And cars are more so. REALLY more so. RILLY RILLY more so!!!!! Our blue one owes us 6 figures, and then there's rego, servicing, and fuel. But if you AREN'T retarded and keep it stock, it's not too hard to keep costs down.

Its possible, especially since my brother is a good mechanic who can I can probably convince to help out a bit on a car without hourly costs. He still owes me Still, I'm probably not going to use a car much anyway, so aside from some maintenance and other costs I won't have to pay too much for it. Only reason I actually got my license is because my mum guilt tripped me into it

So she should You NEED it, otherwise you would end up one of those folks I have noticed that are on the increase that don't know how to drive! I'm sorry, but the concept is SO freakin foreign to me I just can't fathom it.

Preaching to the wrong crowd here hon. Cars and driving them is one of my favoritist things in the whole of everything. Ya just gotta find something you LIKE about something (anything) and you can find enjoyment in even the most BORING of things. Like Websites BORING AS HELL!!! Unless you make 'em fun

I know rest of my family are car nuts as well so not much compassion there for my dislike as well Still that's I think the biggest problem in my life. I don't know what I like so I'm pretty much fumbling around in my life.

Nah, thats just life in general . EVERYONE is like that, just some are better at hiding it than others. Most people (myself included) just "fall into" things, like mt current job. Started off as an Admin assistant type job on Logging Coups making coffee and answering phones. Now I Administer Tech based training solutions of a multinational mining equipment dealership. How? Buggered if I know, it just sorta happened... Whilst I was fumbling around for a job. And now I'm Married. To a GUY!? That I met on a train!?! Going to an Anime Convention!!!! HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP, SOMEBODY SAVE ME!!!!!AHEM, sorry, I'm still getting used to that one...
So, see? Good stuff happens even when your screwing around.

XD somehow I can see that happening to you . still, don't really see anything like that happen to me for a few years at the very least. You at least knew what you liked or managed to see the fun parts in stuff and enjoy them. I just don't know what I enjoy or find fun, even stuff I used to enjoy immensely now just feels kinda meh :/. I used to read books a lot. I haven't picked up a book and read through it without it sometimes feeling like a chore in ages. I still like drawing but I can't pick up a pencil and just draw. It feels like I'm going nowhere anyway. .. okay now that was slightly whiny ^^; sorry bout that.

I find sharing my interests helps heaps. I like driving, so I go on car club cruises and meet people that also like stuff I like. I like Webcomics and Furry's, so I share that with everyone I like drawing like a retard, so I do! If I draw crap lots, it will encourage me to draw better sometimes. Maybe? Does that make sense? I'm not sure it even makes sense to me... Damn you other Jade!!! Do it! Share it with others!! Have Fun!!! It's even fun if you get criticized, cos it means that someone cares enough to let you know. Or they are just a Jerk. Either way, it can be funny!

I had that happen to me with books too, and then I found a magical thin that lets me multitask with reading and work/art: Books on tape. I used to hate them because I couldn't focus on them, but now they're great because I don't have to keep choosing stuff over books or trying to read while thinking I should do something else!

practice makes perfect indeed. thats what you were trying to say with the drawing metaphore I think and dunno about that. I'm about as sociable as a hermit crab. (I'm not sorry for the pun!) So sharing things doesn't come easily. I can barely look at my own stuff without thinking its horrible crap and that it will stay horrible crap forever. So I'm not feeling up to sharing it with others. audiobooks.. do they still sell those ? never seen those in the stores before.
