You don't need to actually fork out any hard earned, just spread the love so that other rabid Fanvixens can get scowering looks off their husbands when she tells him she just paid a small fortune for a $9 comic book which hasn't been made yet O:-)

Holidays! Well, for us anyways...
I WAS gunna take a couple of weeks off and veg, play computers and internets, and just DO NOTHING, but my awesome husband decided "hey, lets go to my parents!". Yaaaaaaay....
So yesterday (and quite out of the blue) we drove 1000km (998, but who's counting...) to visit his parents. Fun.
So I'm gunna do stuff. Like fang out at the local bakery, which is like the best bakery IN THE WORLD (for like 12 consecutive years, not sure if it currently is, but it was... 'n stuff.) and go hiking, maybe skiing, but I haven't done that in years, so I'll probably die. And it's cold and full of jerks, so maybe not. The forests around here are also awesome for rally car driving, and were where Kitty cut his teeth in the sport, but also maybe not, cos we bought the V8, and 1700kg of sedan and a nasty 8 cylinder do not a rally car make.
So, Holidays!

Skiing? In australia? You mean in one of those indoor complexes then? anyway, that sounds like a pretty decent vacation. though 1000 km is a lot O__O.. that's three times the entire lenght of my homecountry. (around 300 km and a bit. Yeah, laugh it up belgium is tiny )

Some jerk did a hit and run on our car! No one was hurt, and nothing other then cosmetic damage, but he ran into the rear quarter of our car as we were going through a roundabout, and kept driving! We let the police know, but we still have to pay an excess on our insurance, cos we didn't get his plates.

man, that's a dick move. Especially since you need to pay extra for your insurance now. To bad they didn't catch the bastard.

Maybe, maybe not with the whole pay more thing, I think our rating 1 is protected, and we weren't at fault. But yeah, it may be a duck move, but I'm also sorta glad Matt didn't get his hands on the guy, cos he was pretty angry... Took it in for a quote today, just waiting to hear back from the panel beaters and the insurence company about when to go and drop it in.

I hope everything falls into place and that you can still enjoy your vacation. On my end. It's slightly messed up. I already told you guy's I was operated on my left elbow last week because of an infection there. They had to cut out a gland there. Turns out it became infected a few day's ago thanks to the stitches, they didn't degrade in my body for some reason. My elbow had a swelling the size of a chicken egg for a few days. Luckly they gave me antibiotics and now I'm fine. Swelling has gone down and it hurts a lot less. Still not going to be fun tomorrow though. I'm starting an art course then in my hometown. And drawing for an entire day with a sore elbow is going to put a slight damper on the fun there. Still, you take the good with the bad

The school doesn't really pay attention to the technique part I'm afraid. They themselves found out that most people find their own techique of holding the pencil and drawing stuff on their own. They mostly are about the concepts of negative space and lots and lots of still life. Pretty much an entire day of still life drawing

Sure was looking forward to next week. Just one more lesson of general exercises so the teacher can get a grip on your skill-level and then we start the reall teaching
